Since the beginning it has been our mission to stand up for human equality and empowerment. Whether it be bullying, racism, or in this case, modern slavery, we need to rise together and fight the evil.
Human Trafficking is real for many and an issue that has only recently come to light and been brought to the forefront of our minds. We decided we needed to do something to both bring awareness and raise funds to much needed causes.
We have decided to donate 20% of all proceeds from this shirt to the anti-child trafficking charity, Thorn.org, but that alone isn't enough. We crafted these shirts to feature a working QR code to lead the wearer and any passerby back to this article. It's important that information is spread and readily available. What is Thorn?
Thorn is a nonprofit that builds technology to defend children from sexual abuse. With the world's largest technical team solely dedicated to this issue, Thorn develops software and interventions to fight child sex trafficking, the creation and proliferation of child sexual abuse material, and the normalization of child sexual exploitation online. Thorn is the only independent entity developing solutions for law enforcement, tech companies, and NGOs, and this software is identifying on average 10 child victims per day and reducing investigation time by 60%. - Thorn.Org
